No Refund Policy

The International Registry of Midwives (IRM) does not offer any money-back guarantees. You acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances.

Practice Rights and Legalities

The IRM does not guarantee practice rights after successful application and exam completion. Practice rights and legalities vary globally, and it is the practitioner's responsibility to ensure they operate legally. The IRM application and exam process ensures that a candidate meets or exceeds the outlined standards at the time of examination and during the certification period. The IRM does not supervise or guarantee the results and safety of practitioners certified through our organization.

Non-Refundable Fees

- Membership Fees: Non-refundable.

- Exam Fees: Non-refundable. Exam fees must be paid in full, and all application documents must be approved before sitting for the exam.

- Conference and Retreat Fees: Non-refundable. If a cancellation or postponement occurs, the fees paid will be credited to a future IRM event of the registrant's choice. Alternatively, these payments can be applied towards future exam fees if the registrant chooses not to attend a future conference.

Certification Renewal

All certifications must be renewed every four years to remain in good standing. Complaints about an IRM-certified practitioner will be investigated, and renewal may be denied based on the findings.

Additional Conference and Retreat Information

The IRM is not responsible for airfare costs or any other costs incurred. Unless otherwise stated on the registration, housing and two meals per day are included in the conference and retreat fees. The fees also cover conference speakers, workshops, and CEUs.

By registering and submitting payment for an exam, membership, or conference/retreat, you agree to these terms and conditions, as well as any additional information provided below.

No Warranties

The IRM makes no warranties regarding the performance or operation of this website. The IRM further makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the information, contents, materials, registrations, documents, programs, products, books, or services included on or through this website. To the fullest extent permissible under the law, the IRM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

You agree to absolve the IRM of any and all liability or loss that you or any person or entity associated with you may suffer or incur as a result of using the information contained on this website and/or the resources, payments, and registrations. The IRM shall not be liable to you for any type of damages, including direct, indirect, special, incidental, equitable, or consequential loss or damages. The information, products, and services included in or available through the website may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes are periodically added to the information herein. The IRM and/or its suppliers may make improvements and/or changes to the website at any time.

The IRM and/or its suppliers make no representations about the suitability, reliability, availability, timeliness, and accuracy of the information, software, products, services, and related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all such information, software, products, services, and related graphics are provided "as is" without warranty or condition of any kind. The IRM and/or its suppliers hereby disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to this information, software, products, services, and related graphics, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the IRM, its employees, volunteers, and/or its suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever without limitation.
